Yau's Gochugaru Red Pepper Powder 100g

Yau's Gochugaru is made from Korean Red Chillies and ground coarsely to preserve their unique flakey texture and vibrant colour.

Often used for Kimchi and Gochujan, this special variety of chilli, Cheongyang, resembles a cayenne, but delivers a slightly stronger heat. As is the traditional way, the chillies are deseeded before being sun-dried or air-dried, thereby placing more emphasis on the flavour of the chilli, rather than its outright heat.

Add to virtually any Korean dish, from kimchi and soups, to BBQ rubs and sauces. Simpluy add to taste and find your ideal heat level.

Typical shelf life from purchase 10-12 months. After opening, store in tin and place in a cool, dry cupboard.
